Was born in 1936 in Kutaisi, Georgia. Music education has received at musical school on a violin class. Has started to compose music approximately since 1955. Took private lessons of a composition, harmony, polyphony and orchestral score. In electroacoustic music of the beginnings is engaged since 1961, after the institute termination on a speciality soundproducer and working with synthesizer ANS in the Moscow Experimental Studio of Electronic Music. The basic direction of musical creativity - music for theatre and cinema.
